Free entry (AMOE): mail-in and online requests
What an alternative method of entry is, how mail-in and online free-entry requests differ, and which casinos in our directory record each method.
At a glance
- Free entry (AMOE) is a no-purchase way to receive Sweeps Coins, set out in each operator’s official rules.
- Mail-in requests come with strict conditions; online requests run on a timer.
- The tables below list which casinos record each method, with rewards and limits.
What free entry is
An alternative method of entry (AMOE) is a free way to receive sweepstakes entries, such as Sweeps Coins, without making a purchase. Each operator describes its own method in its official sweepstakes rules, and the details differ from site to site.
Mail-in requests
A mail-in request is usually a handwritten request sent to the address in the operator’s rules. Operators often attach conditions, such as a request code from your account, handwriting or ink requirements, and limits on how many requests an envelope or a day may carry.
Postage and stationery cost money and crediting is not instant. The Letter Tracker records mailing dates, letters, postage and credits, so you can see what each batch returned.
Online requests
Some operators accept a free-entry request from inside your account instead, usually once per set period. The Letter Tracker can time those requests too.

Acceptance and crediting are decided by the operator, not SweepCoins. Rules change, so confirm the operator’s current official rules before mailing or requesting anything.
